2012 Political Conventions filled with LIES and the people who love the lies

A lying tongue is not only something God hates, it is also something that is an abomination to Him.

But, it seems we have decided homosexuality is more of an abomination to God than a lie is. Man has taken it upon themselves to determine a hierarchy of what is an abomination to God and this is turning off a lot of people looking at the actions of Christians and Christianity as a whole

The RNC kicked off it's convention with TS Isaac dampening the turnout but not the spirit of the "Yes I Did Build It Theme."
Just over a month ago I called into AFR (American Family Radio Station) and I made a general comment that a Politician or Lawyer should not be in either professions because they have to lie. The host was quick to ask me "So, you are saying all politicians and lawyers are liars?"

Of course I had to retract and say most of them are liars and have to pander to their audience for votes or lie to get a known criminal off because they are bound by law to provide them with a good defense leaving it to a jury to make the final decision.

After each night of the RNC broadcast, pundits quickly pointed out the lies that were told and the audience's indifference to the lie. After both conventions are finished, the American public will be be bombarded by lies while each candidate touts their Christian beliefs. This lead me to question what does the Bible have to say about lying.

Prov 6:16-19


16 There are six things which the LORD hates, Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him: 17 Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood, 18 A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that run rapidly to evil, 19 A false witness who utters lies, And one who spreads strife among brothers.

So, if a lying tongue is something that is an abomination to our LORD, then would it not behoove us to understand what constitutes a lie?

Let us first give a definition as to what a lie is according to Webster’s dictionary: To make a statement that one knows is false, especially with the intent to deceive. To give a false impression or action or false statement, especially with the intent to deceive. To make a false statement in order to evade the truth. The invention of a false story or excuse in order to deceive.

Even with clear cut definitions of what lying is; people still choose to LIE. When are you “lying”? When you make, or purposely convey, a statement that you believe to be false, a statement intended to deceive someone to gain, or not lose, some advantage, and which must in fact be false. You can also lie by naming (“the job creators,” “death panels”) or by purposely evoking a false framing of a situation.


If accused of lying, you have excuses available: an understandable mistake, a white lie (harmless, technically false, intended to help), an uncharitable interpretation (not what I meant), a disagreement about word meaning (what is a “lobbyist”?), a misstatement (an innocent mistake in word choice), a social lie (What a pleasure to be here in Iowa in midwinter!), a technically true statement that indirectly entails a lie, a false statement you believed to be true at the time, a rhetorical statement (an innocent exaggeration, understatements, metaphor, etc.), an alternative framing, and so on. These can be either honest, or lying to get out of a lie.

In politics, politicians are willing to throw the lie out there and then retract it the next day. But the lie has been eaten up and beginning to be spread to others hungry for the lie.   Politicians lie to protect or advance what they see as a moral endeavor, like invading Iraq or cutting off 'welfare queens.'All politics is moral. Politicians advocate positions that they claim are right, not wrong or morally neutral. Like anyone else, a politician may lie to protect his or her own skin. But more often politicians lie to protect or advance what they see as a moral endeavor (e.g., the invasion of Iraq, Reagan’s war on nonexistent “welfare queens,” Johnson on the Tonkin Gulf). In the conservative moral system, the highest value is protecting and extending the moral system itself. When conservative icons or ideas themselves are threatened, it is not uncommon for conservative politicians to lie in their defense (Reagan never raised taxes; there’s no evidence for global warming; “government takeover”).

Voters tolerate lies they see as serving a moral purpose, or as having a reasonable excuse. They give more latitude to politicians they identify with.

One thing I found interesting is that the liar has to be 'All In' in their decision to lie:

Make peace with your decision to lie. Good lying means you've already crossed any moral or ethical hurdles, and justified to yourself that the lie in question is now a necessity. A poor liar often trips up through continuing to struggle with the morality or faith issues behind the decision to lie. So now you are prepared to receive what the Bible has to say about lying and liars and I hope you take this to heart as you choose your candidate for President in 2012. People have said the position on abortion and homosexuality are the two issues to consider for a Christian. But, I also pay attention to the LIES the candidate tells and what is behind the reason he is lying.

Judgment

In the New Testament books, there is an example of two people lying, Ananias and his wife Sapphira. Both of their lives were taken away by the Lord for lying. We should take to heart this example and understand how much God hates lying.

Acts 5:1-11, "But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him. And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. Todd Akin; What About The MAN Juice part in RAPE

MISSOURI WOMEN - WE'RE WATCHING YOUR VOTE. LOVE YOURSELF.

RAPE is considered to be such an ugly subject until we allow it to live and thrive because we don't want to be exposed to ugly? RAPE is now part of the 2012 political race.

I wrote a poem that placed in a national poetry contest: "Every Three Minutes" which dealt with the subject of rape. Now, it seems we must be informed as women what the word RAPE means. Todd Akin has brought to our vocabulary the words 'Legitimate Rape' and 'False Rape' and a little known fact that a woman can 'shut down a pregnancy' resulting from rape. Even the rapist are laughing. But, the Christians are standing with Akins. I say "Someone needs to walk a mile in someone else's shoes." Evangelism is DEAD and was murdered by the GOP in 2012.

Will women be silent and stand by for the sake of Party loyalty and let a man tell her WHEN she is raped. I'm sorry to say this and I know it may be offensive; but a woman's vote for this man is an assault on women by women. SHAME!!

This is a subject women should take the lid off of and empower themselves and their daughters to guard against as they live and grow. Understanding the beast is the first step and that those targeted are not to blame. Know the truth, know the myth. Teach the truth and teach the myth.

I encourage every woman, every friend of a woman, and mothers to down load this page to keep and refer to at least once a year to remind yourself that rape is real and still happens. To be informed is just another part of loving yourself.

To hear someone say that a woman's body makes some kind of JUICES to prevent pregnancy during a rape is the height of ignorance and a sick depraved mind. What JUICE power does a woman have and can activate while someone is entering her private parts against her will. If any juice can be activated it should be LYE to burn the hell out of the man's penis.

MUSCULAR CHRISTIANITY I hate this phrase everytime I hear it on the intro to a Christian broadcast. Why are all of these muscular men blaming women for everything. Don't the rapist have JUICES!!! Oh, this is one case where men will say women are stronger than them. Women JUICES can trump men Juices. How sickening!!!!

Has Obama made the men on the Right feel so impotent until they have to beat up on women to feel like men again? There is a WAR ON WOMEN. The emasculated man is kicking the dog when he gets home and yes, it is women. This would be domestic violence since definitions are so important.

As with all of the evils in the world, be wary of how this subject is approached so you will not instill anxiety and paranoia in our young girls. Awareness is a key weapon in the battle against rape.

Christianity Stabbed in the Back: The Ides of Politics

I am a Christian and I know my head is spinning around just like Linda Blair's head did in the movie the Exorcism as she spewed out green pea soup vomit. My head is only spinning, others are and have been spewing the pea soup. Let me make it perfectly clear. My head is spinning at the flip flop of the Church in its attempt to shape the outcome of the 2012 election covering their motives in Christianity, going against their own teachings and beliefs; thus losing their integrity and bringing suspicions on Christianity as a whole. My heart bleeds for the Christians who are left in a stupor of confusion.

"Therefore let us stop passing judgement on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumb- ling block or obstacle in your brother's way." Romans 14:13

"Be careful, however, that the exercise of your freedom does not become a stumbling block to the weak." 1 Corinthians 8:9

Why have I pulled these two passages from the Bible (and not go into the context of which they were spoke) to make a foundation for my post? Because these words speak so well to what is causing my head to spin and my concern for other Christians, those who are babes in Christ, and for the secular world who are watching Christians.

For years, rightly or wrongly, Christianity has taught congregations or warned them in depth about other religions in which they consider to be cults:

The Four Major Cults: Christian Science, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormonism and one is missing to this list isn't it? The reason it is missing is because I wanted to draw attention to the fact many Christians believe it is a cult.

"For decades evangelicals have diligently and faithfully attempted to identify, analyze and warn the church against cults. Included in the standard list are Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, Christian Science, Unity School of Christianity, Sun Myung Moon's Unification Church, etc. Yet the most seductive, dangerous and largest cult (many times larger than all of the rest combined) is not included in the list! Most cult experts refuse to identify this horrendous cult as such! Instead, they accept it as "Christian."… facts of which I myself was ignorant years ago when I, too, failed to identify the Roman Catholic Church as the cult it is… Were Luther, Calvin and the other Reformers alive today, they would denounce Roman Catholicism as the largest and most dangerous cult on earth!... Did you catch the 4th denomination many Christians believe is a cult? Yep. Catholicism.

In the pews of many Sunday Schools or in the early evening of Bible Studies, and yes, in Seminars across the United States, it has been drummed into the Christian mind that there are cults and you should do everything to evangelize these lost people and bring them to Christ.

But, the political arena of 2012 has changed this teaching/preaching. For the first time in history, we will have a Republican ticket that does not have a Protestant running for the office of president. We have a Mormon and a Catholic. What is a Christian to do? There must be some kind of conflict occuring in their spirit? They must be deciding: "Have I been lied to for years or does my Christian faith have to go along with the teachings of my denomination?" Heads everywhere must be spinning or even exploding.

Evangelism of Jews has always been hampered by the fact Jews believe Christians seem not to be able to decide if they worship 3 Gods - God, Jesus, Holy Spirit and the vast number of denominations they have. Now throw into this mix the changing opinions about Catholics and Mormons in the name of politics, Christianity has stabbed their own selves in the back in their ability to be taken seriously about their belief in Jesus. INTEGRITY has been lost in the 2012 Election.

1. A great challenge confronting the church is denominationalism...

a. According to one account, there are more than 38,000 different denominations!

b. Different religious organizations, bearing many different religious names

c. Hindering the spread of the gospel ("Why, you Christians can’t even agree!") we should not be surprised when unbelievers are slow to accept the gospel coming from a divided church

2. Many point to the divided condition of those professing to follow Christ...

a. Atheists and agnostics use religious division as an excuse not to believe in God

b. Muslims, Jews, etc. often use denominationalism reasons not to believe in Christ

3. Denominationalism has also given support and encouragement to the cults

a. Mormonism started in reaction to the denominationalism of Joseph Smith’s day

b. Those who call themselves "Jehovah’s Witnesses" use religious division to encourage people to follow their own strictly-controlled organization.

This is what the faithful have been told for years. But no more. All of these beliefs are being turned on their head while the pea soup spewers are calling Democrats people who hate God and are evil, lost, and sinfulmpeople bound for hell. The president, who has been called a Muslim, receives no such 'blind eye' by the Christian Right. Or has he? As far as hypocrisy is accounted for.

Isn’t it interesting how right-wing personalities like Bryan Fischer and Janet Mefferd consistently say that no one on the Right attacks Mitt Romney over his Mormon faith…and then go on to claim that Mormons are under Satan’s deception and don’t care about public office because they are waiting to become gods, respectively. And Fischer and Mefferd are far from the only ones who are trying to make the Mormon religion into an election issue."


"On a Monday edition of Crosstalk, Vic Eliason of Voice of Christian Youth America advised listeners against supporting a Mormon candidate for president because they are praying to “the wrong God.” Eliason in 2008 hosted a presidential candidate debate with other Religious Right leaders that you will not be surprised to learn Romney did not attend."

The Christian Right is seizing the day to take their country back and it does not matter what is sacrificed in this effort: INTEGRITY

Let's imagine for an instant Christianity is against the American government (made up of the three branches guided by the Constitution) crowning itself as the one and only true leader of the free world, America, instead of Christianity. What can we parallel to this self crowning (which the founding fathers actually established with every citizen of the United States voting their wishes as to who would have these powers)? Yes, I know. The Great Caesar.

A more well known occurrence on the Ides of March, in 44 B.C., Julius Caesar was assassinated, at the foot of a statue of Pompey where the Senate was meeting. Before Caesar went to the theater of Pompey to attend the Senate meeting, he had been given advice not to go, but he didn't listen. Biographers describe tension between Caesar and the Senate, and his possible claims to the title of king. These events were the principal motive for Caesar's assassination by his political opponents in the Senate.


Brutus began to conspire against Caesar with his friend and brother-in-law Gaius Cassius Longinus and other men, calling themselves the Liberatores ("Liberators"). Many plans were discussed by the group, as documented by Nicolaus of Damascus:

“ The conspirators never met exactly openly, but they assembled a few at a time in each other's homes. There were many discussions and proposals, as might be expected, while they investigated how and where to execute their design. Some suggested that they should make the attempt along the Sacred Way, which was one of his favorite walks. Another idea was to do it at the elections, during which he had to cross a bridge to appoint the magistrates in the Campus Martius. Someone proposed that they draw lots for some to push him from the bridge and others to run up and kill him. A third plan was to wait for a coming gladiatorial show. The advantage of that was, because of the show, no suspicion would be aroused if arms were seen. The majority opinion, however, favored killing him while he sat in the Senate. He would be there by himself, since only Senators were admitted, and the conspirators could hide their daggers beneath their togas. This plan won the day."

The result unforeseen by the assassins was that Caesar's death precipitated the end of the Roman Republic. The Roman lower classes, with whom Caesar was popular, became enraged that a small group of aristocrats had sacrificed Caesar.

People are calling for smaller government, but it actually seems like they want to kill government. It is the rich aristocrats of the 21st Century plotting the demise and the 99% who are enraged. Will this attitude have some unforseen consequences?

Christianity is stabbing itself in the back and have been doing so for years. It has culminated and shown it's true self; which is the lust for POWER and GREED. The flip flop on their teachings of cults and which denomination is the only TRUE Christian religion and who belongs in it, has been heading to this outcome: The Ides Of Politics; which we witnessed during the Republican debates.

So, I am looking for more serious wounds as we get closer and closer to the day when the vote is cast. Will our ability to be taken seriously as those living Holy lives and an example for others who would want to follow Jesus continue after 2012? Or will our venom and loss of integrity turn off the world to Christianity?

All I know is - my head is spinning from listening to the Christians as they engage in politics. I look for the love, grace, and mercy of Jesus as he changed history through his ministry and I can't see it.

Republican Red Red Whine

It's everywhere and it seems to be a very good year. The best grapes selected, every drop of juice squeezed, bottled, and aged to perfection. And it is a red, red, elephant whine.

Gone are the days when the GOP let fly fiery darts of racist dog whistles, sling shots filled with slurs, machine guns spewing accusations, and torpedoes laced with conspiracy theories; or so the whiners would have us believe.

Offended by Joe Biden's use of the word 'chains' while addressing an audience with what is called 'having a number of blacks in it' is considered by the Right as the most low ball thing a singular person could do. The news is filled with the Right saying SHAME ON YOU and HOW UNACCEPTABLE.  Where have they been living the past three years? 

But, American ears and even the ears of the world do not have short term memory. It will take a lot to top the years of incivility the people have been exposed to by the mouths of the Republican Cult; no I'm not going to become one of those people. I apologize - Republican Party is what I meant.

I know I heard what I have heard: "Communist, Czar, Chicago gangster, food stamp president, not a  true/real 'black' man, leader of DEATH PANELS, Socialist, not American, anointed one, baby killer, warrior against Christianity, destroyer of the family, a liar, and the list goes on and on."  Romney said vote for Obama if you want more free stuff. The Birther lie has been going on for over three years. Alan West, Herman Cain, and Michelle Bachman reminded us of enslavement and plantations, but not in the way history has recorded it. 

Kansas House Speaker Mike O’Neal publicly cited a Bible verse calling for President Obama to be killed, his wife to be widowed, and his children to be orphaned. He’s the very same guy who forwarded an email to state house Republicans referring to the First Lady as “Mrs. YoMamma.”

And Marilyn Davenport, an elected member of the Orange County (California) Republican Central Committee, forwarded her own email in April of last year that included a doctored photo of the President and his parents as monkeys.


Four months later, Colorado Congressman Doug Lamborn candidly said during a radio interview that he didn’t “even want to have to be associated with … (President Obama). It’s like touching a tar baby …”

Speaker John Boehner on August 31, 2011 became the first speaker in history to tell a sitting president that he would not be permitted to deliver an address to a joint session of Congress on the date specifically requested by the White House.

We have come to the REAL time when the GOP has come 'uncorked' and the whine is flowing. Now it is President Obama and Joe Biden who are the grapes of wrath - saying things that degrade both of their offices. Now is the time the GOP has decided to chastise ugly language and behavior. REALLY?

Mitt Romney has asked the president for an apology while he continues to attack. We remember how ruthless his attacks were on Newt; so, we know he will unleash an arsenal of ugliness on the president the closer November 2012 gets.

There has to be a special place in Dante's Inferno reserved for this switcheroo group who denies racism exists and they actually fuel it with every word they utter.

 When does what the eyes see and the ears hear become truth? When will the perpetrators of hate say enough is enough? I know I have had enough. How about you?

Harriet Tubman's Letter to The Republican Party of 2012

I was born around 1820 or 21 in Dorchester County Maryland. Keeping track of my exact date of birth would be too much knowledge for my liitle ole head to be concerned with. My life, in my owner's eyes, was I only needed to be exposed to things he found relevant and important to my well being and abilities to get my work load of the day done. If I had to show my papers when stopped and asked about my origin or age would be a futile effort for a person considered as not a person or someone who did not belong to the land where I lived and worked.

For years I felt proud I had someone watching out for me making the hard decisions of my life. Or that is how my master thought I felt. In his own mind, this allowed me to get to the business of working. And man did I know how to work.

People these days are obsessed with their good looks. they get Botox or nose jobs and face lifts to make sure they look young and good. But if the truth be told, they look more like the wild animals I came across in the dark of night while leading other slaves to freedom.

No- beauty was never a luxury I had time to sit around and contemplate. I had scars on my face, neck, and body that God did not give me, but scars man decided I deserved.

One Mistress I was rented to worked me all day long and I had to rock her baby all night long and if that baby cried disturbing the Mistress, I would receive the whip across my neck. My scars were my beauty, if there were ever such a thing. They were my beauty because they made me long to be like those without the scars of slavery.

The scars were not just a cosmetic concern. The avoidance of receiving them made me a hard worker; bailing hay like any other man, trying to avoid the flogging.. Strong men marveled at me at my feats of physical stregnth. Little did I know or little did they know that along with my physicsl strenghth came internal strengnth and determination; piling up as high as the hay I chopped and stacked.

Now this young generation would balk at all of the suffering I went through, but they don't realize it is the suffering that made me stronger;  able to withstand the next blow of oppression offered by my Christian
tormentors.

Even though I watched my Christian owners live lives they said were in accordance with Jesus' teachings, I prayed right along with them for mercy. I prayed for my master much like the Christians of today pray for President Obama: "Oh dear Lord change dat man's heart and make him a Christian.'' It was good for the soul to pray. But when I learned I was to be sent to a chain gang in the far South my prayer quickly changed to " Lord if you aint't never going to change dat man's heart, kill him, Lord and take him out of de way so he won't do no more mischeif."

Boy oh boy was I surprised when the Master died as wickedly as he lived. It was then I realized the power of prayer and that my soul had to be clean in order for me to pray clean prayers for the Lord to hear.

Nineteen times I traveled back to the arms of danger to free my fellow man. Praying and trusting in God. How surprised, outright mistfied I was when I heard Allen West say he was the new me:

Always a fan of skewed historical references, Rep. Allen West went on Fox News yesterday to proclaim he's the "modern-day Harriet Tubman," and says he's the one that will get the nation's African-Americans off the "21st century plantation."

The "plantation" isn't a new reference for West, but being Harriet Tubman and taking black people on his "underground railroad" is a new one.

And who are the overseers of said "plantation?" Why, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Maxine Waters, and Barbara Lee, of course. But that's some sort of conspiracy theory orchestrated by "white liberals," West explains.

"I'm gonna be brutally honest," West said to Laura Ingraham, who was sitting in for Papa Bear Bill O'Reilly on the O'Reilly Factor yesterday. "White liberals have turned over to certain leaders -- perceived leaders -- in the black community like a Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, a Maxine Waters or Barbara Lee, and said, 'pacify and keep the black community firmly behind us regardless of the failures of our social welfare policies.'"

My memory and health sometimes failed me due to being raised under harsh conditions, and subjected to whippings even as a small child. At the age of 12 I was seriously injured by a blow to the head, inflicted by a white overseer for refusing to assist in tying up a man who had attempted escape. But I can recognize a pig stye filled with pig mess and Mr. West obviously knows nothing about plantation life or the heart of a slave master. Lawd, I need to pray a prayer of wisdom for dis man who has never felt the sting of a whip ripping his black flesh from his bare back.

Mr. West needs to know what caused me to want to leave a plantation instead of staying and waiting on the wonderful handouts I was privy to. This is what Mr.West fails to understand about me and my fellow slaves when he insists we love plantation life.
1. Clothing: Every year, slaves usually received two linen shirts, two pairs of trousers , one jacket, one pair of socks, one pair of shoes, an overcoat, and a wool hat. Because it was free means it was great Mr. West?
2. Food: Slaves usually received cornmeal salt herrings, and eight pounds of pork or fish each month for food.
3. Housing: Slaves houses were usually wooden shacks with dirt floors, but sometimes houses were made of boards nailed up with cracks stuffed with rags. The beds were collected pieces of straw or grass, and old rags, and only one blanket for a covering. A single room could have up to a dozen people-men, women, and children.
4. Childhood: When a slave was only 12 months old his/her mother could be sold far away. When a slave was four, they sometimes worked as a babysitter. When a slave was around the age of five, they would run errands and carry water to the field slaves. Around the age of eight, children would be expected to work on the plantation. I have heard of a woman named Michelle Bauchmann who is very proud of the children and foster children she had the fortune to raise to adulthood. How many tears would she have cried if just one of her babies were ripped from her arms. There is a common mother thread running through the core of every mother I believe. God gives parents the precious gift of children, a life anti-abortionists stand in the rain to protest against. I wonder sometimes how can any person make a statement on the horrors of broken families while sticking their chest out like a peacock pleased at raising double digits of children. This quote chills my old bones to the core: Slavery had a disastrous impact on African-American families, yet sadly a child born into slavery in 1860 was more likely to be raised by his mother and father in a two-parent household than was an African-American baby born after the election of the USA's first African-American President. To hear a mother's scream from being forced to give up her baby is a cry no one who has heard it can get over easily. It's a ghost that haunts an empty space in the heart.
5.Families: Over 32% of marriages were canceled by masters as a result of slaves being sold away from the family home. A slave husband could be parted from his wife, and children from their mothers.

6. Punishments: Slaves could be killed for murder, burglary, arson, and assault upon a white person. Plantation owners believed that this severe discipline would make the slaves too scared to rebel.

In South Carolina one slave owner would put nails in a barrel sticking out on the inside of the barrel, then put the slave in and roll him/her down a very long and steep hill. Another punishment slave owners used was to whip their slaves. Other slave owners in Virginia smoked their slaves. This involved whipping them and putting them in a tobacco smokehouse. Some other punishments were getting beaten with a chair, broom, tongs, shovel, shears, knife handles, the heavy end of a woman’s shoe, and an oak club.

Now I don't know Jessie Jackson peronally or this Al Sharpton, but I know this type of living is not being perpetrated by black people on black people. Lawd I worked so hard for my people to have a better life where they were free-free to make choices like the rest of the American people.

7. Religion: One of the main reasons masters didn’t want their slaves to become Christians involved the Bible. This was one reason why most plantation owners did what they could to stop their slaves from learning to read. In the South, black people were not usually allowed to attend church services. Black people in the North were more likely to attend church services. Drums, which were used in traditional religious ceremonies, where banned because overseers worried that they would be used to send messages.

I led slaves from the South to the North where they could live free from the threat of beatings and hangings. Where is Mr. West leading people living in horrid conditions not fit for animals? A plantation is a place of torment for money. Money in which the laborer never has access to. Only the master prospers. Hand outs did not factor into the life of a plantation. Free labor, working a human day and night while treating them like chattel was plantation life.

The new Moses seems to be telling free people they are slaves and slaves like handouts. No slave worked from sunup to sundown for free stuff. And believe me, the scars of slavery are so deep, no black person would ever need someone to follow them to freedom, their soul would ache to be free and they would find a way in the cold still blackness of night.

Well, yall I did all I could do while I could do it. The Underground Railroad served it's purpose. Freedom is a choice that has to be siezed daily. The 21st Century looks so different and yet, the need for money will always enslave those least likely to go to extremes to accumulate it to excess. I see people who don't have any money and recieve Medicare and no Health Insurance standing shoulder to shoulder with those against the government giving out hand outs. My mind goes blank from a severe blow I received. Wonder what has hit them in their heads?

A Lusty Affair Where The Cheater Always Win

Sometimes- late at night- it happens. I see the commercial for Booty Call. I don't know what channel this commercial usually airs on, but I know it is not on a porn site because I don't order the porn channel.

But there the commercial is: one is done with a joke (a pun) "You know the leading cause of divorce is marriage?" And then there is the techno type music one where all forms of desirable bodies are dancing in enticing ways. There has to be a market for this service because the commercial has been around for a while.

I stumbled across an article featuring advice on how to cheat on your mate. To many, the thought of being able to cheat and not getting caught, is actually the rush they are after more so than the actual sexual tryst. Let's look at the secrets of cheating. The advice begins with why a person (in this case a man) would think about cheating in the first place:

1. A woman is most attractive when you don't know a thing about her.

I think this is a true statement. Mystery is intoxicating and arouses lust from the imaginings of our own brain filling in the unknown with our own secret desires. The article goes from this point to the place where you are now engaging in the affair.

2. While you're having your affair you need to make up an alternate persona for yourself. Hiding the true you not leaving any clues to the one being deceived as to who you really are.

3. If your girlfriend is getting suspicious of you the best course of action is to get even more suspicious of her. That's right, begin to accuse her of horrible treachery and lies. If it must be done in machine gun fashion; a barrage of attacks, so be it. You are the one who has your back up against the wall.

But the author of the article ends his tips with a inevitable conclusion: 4. At some point you will be caught. I never made any guarantees to the contrary.

These tips were given for a person who had an attraction to another person while turning a blind eye to promises of fidelity to the person he had made the promises of faithfulness to.

I want to put a spin on this and turn this lustful relationship into an affair between a man and his money and see what happens. Remember, that money is intoxicating and the pursuit of it is the climax for those who lust after it.

The Political arena has turned to a show down about money (just like we didn't know that all politics are about money). Money is being hidden in Swiss bank accounts, class warfare is being screamed, and accusations are flying:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid accuses Romney for not paying taxes ... Reid accused Mitt Romney for failing to pay his taxes for 10 years, ... 

Mr. Romney has fired back at Mr. Reid: "You show me your proof because it is you who needs to show the truth of what YOU are saying."

Everyone wants to know what Mitt Romney is hiding. He is at the point of being caught with his lover-money. We know why he was attracted to this mistress and we are witnessing the alternate persona crashing so, the lying on the one cheated on stage is in full force. Now we await to see if the inevitable GETTING CAUGHT stage will follow.

The religious community does not escape its lust for the green goddess. The alternate persona????

Their granddaughter, Brittany Koper, recently filed court papers that include allegations of $50 million in financial shenanigans at the world's largest Christian broadcasting network. Her suit was followed by another from a Koper in-law, who detailed opulent spending at the network on items such as private jets, mansions in California, Tennessee and Florida and a $100,000 mobile home for Jan Crouch's dogs.

The suit came after Koper's husband was accused by a debt collection company of embezzling more than $1 million from TBN. The debt collection company that filed the lawsuit later added the Crouches' granddaughter and two of her in-laws as defendants.

The lawsuit attention comes at a bad time for TBN, which has seen viewer donations drop steeply. TBN raked in $92 million in donations in 2010 and cleared $175 million in tax-free revenue, but its net income plummeted from nearly $60 million in 2006 to a loss of $18 million in 2010, the most recent year available. Donations fell by nearly $30 million in the same period — a hit the network blames on the bad economy.   In 1998, the elder Crouch secretly paid an accuser $425,000 to keep quiet about allegations of a homosexual encounter. Crouch Sr. has consistently denied the allegations, which were first reported by the Los Angeles Times, and has said he settled only to avoid a costly and embarrassing trial. Well, I guess the author of the article on how to cheat was right; in the end the cheater always get caught. So, for those wondering about Mitt Romney and his unwillingness to show his tax returns I wonder: will this cheater win?
To make it clear why I decided to write this blog, I will let the next quote shine the light on my motives:

How much does it take for a head to explode from crazy?

Well, as you know I listen to American Family Radio when I am driving long distances. Why I continue to do this to myself I don't know; but I do.

Last week I sat behind my steering wheel, seat belt buckled, and listened to the most mind blowing rant that literally caused me to vigorously shake my head in disbelief. I was shaking my head trying to get out of my brain what had just entered; like that was really going to work.

For a split second I thought my head was going to explode from the sheer hypocrisy of what I was listening to.

Okay, I'm am going to do my best to relay to you what made me believe my head would not remain intact upon my shoulders.

For the last several months there has been what has been coined as a "War On Women" which Conservatives say do not exist. Anyway, on this Christian radio station I have become accustomed to hearing about abortions and contaceptions and ObamaCare forcing Christians to have access to birth control pills against their will. I have heard various commentators rail against Planned Parenthood and Roe vs Wade as the end of the world as we know it. The internal mandatory vaginal sonogram for women seeking abortions was the cherry on top of the sundae for the Republican Party. All of this is common knowledge.

On this particular day during the Kevin McCullough show, the commentator was highly upset with Mayor Bloomberg, of New York for 'hiding' baby formula from mothers in an effort to get more moms to breast feed.

The commentator said how dare the Mayor dictate to a woman that she should breast feed her child. The mayor, in essence, was stepping in and taking decision making from the woman who had the right to choose whether or not she wanted to breast feed. And what about mothers who can not produce an adequate supply of milk? He was making them feel less than human and a failure as a mother. How dare the Mayor try to tell a woman what to do with her own body. And to add injury to insult or (insult to injury) before the mother could be issued the baby formular, a nurse would sit down and counsel the woman about the health benefits of breast feeding. This really burned the britches of the commentator.

He stated how dare the Mayor lecture a woman on breast feeding when it was nobody's business!!!!

Does anyone get why I thought my head was going to EXPLODE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to call in and say "JUST TELL HER TO TURN HER HEAD. SHE DOESN'T HAVE TO LOOK."

So to sum things up: Conservatives can and will continually push laws to make women have babies - no abortions, no contaceptives. But, how women choose to feed the babies after they are born is nobody's business and you will make a woman feel inferior when you take choices away from her about breastfeeding or not breastfeeding?

There is a place called Crazy Town USA and the people of this town don't even have to show ID; you just have to listen to them and you will know right away they live in Crazy Town USA.

The reasoning given by Christian Conservatives as to their stance on abortion is first: it is because it is biblical and second: it is because they care and love women so much they want to protect them from the damage and horror that come with having an abortion. I don't know why they get so riled up about contraceptives, unless it is because Caucasians are becoming the minority and they want to correct this fact with getting rid of Planned Parenthood and access to contraceptives to force more Caucasian women to have more children (Census data indicates the Hispanic population will soon out number the Caucasian and African American population).

But, hating the idea of encouraging breast feeding; which is benificial for baby and mom is the most inane reason for a rant on the protection of women's rights when you are trying to control her decision of whether or not she wants to even become pregnant. Is this one of those cart before the horse deals?

Uterus, Vagina, Breast, all that is left is a Lobotomy in the effort of loving women to death.
