How lucky you are to have found me. I never thought that I would ever be a blogger. I have only heard about them on the news, yet here I am. This will be just one of my many new experiences yet to come. I am the most fascinating person that I know and you will think so too in the months to come. You definitely need to keep an eye on me! I hope that you are interesting too, which I already know that you are. Remember, I see diamonds in...

Dorothy, I would love to read your book. It sounds wonderful. I too have three daughters and am a veteran. I just retired from 27 years on the USN/USN Reserve. My favorite thing is gardening too. My kids are all grown and gone, two currently in the service, one who left the Navy and got her degree. I found your link on the GardenWeb Round Robin Exchange. So, I'm a Gardenwebber not a Googleblogger. haha. Anyway, where can I find your book? I live near Fort Worth. Cheryl
Wow a vet and a gardener, how blessed.
Pleased to chat with you. 27 years huh, and a mother? You deserve praise and honor. Tell me, do you have a passion for roses? In my book, Samantha has three daughters: Rose, Lillie, and Iris. The book is a wonderful account of a woman waiting for nature's O.K. to get started again in the garden. It is a love affair that crosses all kinds of lines from comfort, to theft, to faith, to closer family and community ties. The book will be available for purchase on the Web in the later part of August 2007. I will post a few lines here and there for those that want a sneak peak before hand. We seem to be on the same plane in family, interests, and career. I Look forward to chatting with you some more in the future and talking about gardening. I am in the south and the heat is taking its toll on my plants so I need to be encouraged from time to time if you know what I mean.
